The local organizing committee for CSZ 2019 welcomes you to Windsor.

The city of Windsor’s population is approximately 217,000 so it is large enough to provide a large diversity of activities but small enough to have a comfortable feel.  Please check out the City of Windsor home page ( for a selection of different types of activities available.  Being the Motor City of Canada, Windsor does struggle a bit with public transit but it is a highly walkable city and the meeting venue is right across the street from an extensive riverwalk and trail system that connects the city with neighbouring communities and even goes out into Essex County.

The meeting will be held at the St. Clair College Centre of the Arts ( in downtown Windsor, very close to many amenities.  We are striving to make this a family-friendly meeting and are organizing options for those who choose to bring their families.

Location and Climate:

Windsor is located at 42.3149° N, 83.0364° W and at an elevation of only 190 m, is essentially at sea level.  As one of Canada’s southernmost cities we have a very mild climate and an average daytime temperature of 20˚C in May, dropping down to 10 ˚C at night.

Internet access will be provided by the St. Clair College Centre of the Arts
